Cleaner – 16 hours per week at Real Living Wage (£12 per hour), 12 month fixed term
Overview:
The cleaner will be a vital member of the team with responsibility for making our venues clean and safe for our users and members of the public. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, honest, reliable, flexible, dependable, and self-motivated who is willing to uphold the ethos of BCDC. You would be working between our 3 venues in Barmulloch and Balornock with varied days and times.
Duties:
Duties will include vacuuming, dusting, polishing, refuse handling, sweeping, mopping, litter picking, small maintenance jobs, and reporting defects. Experience in health and safety, risk assessments, COSHH and first aid is preferred but not essential as long as you have a willingness to learn. Basic numerical and literacy skills are required for safe measuring of cleaning fluids. You may be asked to carry out other reasonable duties relevant to the management and operation of the company as required.
