We are running a free 8 week course for women who have faced trauma, violence, addiction, abuse, depression or if you just feel the course may suit your personal circumstances. Details below. -o-C in the Park 2016 Saturday 4th June 2016 - 12pm to 3pm
Our 10th C in the Park was held on Saturday 4th June 2016 from 12 noon to 3pm around the Former Church Hall and entrance to Robroyston Park. We raised nearly £900 and we were lucky enough to have another gorgeous sunny day. Our activities included Shaw the Butcher, JK Entertainment, moodiesburn and district pipe band, live musical entertainment, dancing displays from Dance Energy and Bradley Babes, face painting, Partick Thistle football coaching, park lives games, Disney character appearances, belly dancer, birds of prey, highland cattle from Pollok Park, tearoom, tombola, raffle, BCDC information stall, various local groups in their stalls sharing details of what is going on in the area and of course the conservation group.

Are you looking for new hobbies, interests, sports, volunteering, friendships or learning opportunities? All males are welcome to come along to the meeting to discuss plans and share your ideas for a Men’s Group.
-o-Robroyston Park and BCDC Grounds Clean Up Day 21st May 2016 10am to 12noon
We are in the 4th year of cleaning up various locations around Barmulloch and Robroyston Park. If you would like to come along and help on the day just arrive at BCDC former church hall in Quarrywood Avenue and we will make sure you have the relevant safety equipment for cleaning up. Refreshment and photo opportunity at Asda Robroyston afterwards.

This event is led by the Butterfly Conservation Scotland staff and is part of the Urban Butterfly Project. -o-Christmas Tree Official Lights Switch On 4th december 2015 at 6.30pm
Barmulloch and Balornock will for the 1st year will have their own Christmas Tree on Wallacewell Road (just beside the playpark). Official switch on is for everyone to come along on Friday 4th December 2015 at 6.30pm. After the ceremony there will be free hot drinks and snacks a short walk to the nearby Brunswick Centre, 17 Wardhill Road, G21 3NN. Come along wearing your santa hats and flashing lights to join in the celebrations. For safety reasons children must be accompanied and no sparklers or candles please unless battery operated.

You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Barmulloch Community Development Company on Thursday 29th October at 7pm in the former church hall, Quarrywood Avenue, G21 3ES. Come along and have a cup of tea and see what is happening in the area.
-o-The future of Red Road 2nd Sept '15 1.30pm to 7.30pm
Have your say on what you would like on the land where the Red Road Flats are currently sited. On 11th October 2015 the flats will be demolished and there will be a regeneration of the area in the following years. If it matters to you what should be on the land then tell the people that want to hear your opinion. Come along to the Former Church Hall and have a chat and a cup of tea and see what is going on.

Don’t know where to start when it comes to stretching your budget, managing your money and taking control of your finances? Come along and take part in our new course. Race night and dance was held on 27th June 2015 @ 7pm till late.We made a profit of £270 on the night.

Our 9th C in the Park was held in and around the Former Church Hall and based around music, dance, health, fitness, play, social inclusion and regeneration. All children's activities were FREE. Bouncy castle, pipe band, musical entertainment, dancing displays, birds of prey, face painting, Partick Thistle football coaching, Disney character appearances, tearoom, tombola, raffle and BCDC information stall. I think we can all agree that the sun making an appearance again brightened up the day and make it a great success. Thank you to all the participants on the day, without the cooperation of everyone we could not continue this event annually.We raised over £700.

We are in the 3rd year of cleaning up various locations around Barmulloch and Robroyston Park. BCDC pulled together another good team and joined in the annual clean up and tidied the areas around our hall, Quarrywood shops and the entrance to Robroyston Park..

Scottish Family Night - 31st January 2015 - 7pm to 9pm. Everyone welcome. Come along with all your family and meet other local people. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits supplied. Over 18s are welcome to bring their own bottle.

Our Christmas Fayre was a busy afternoon and was nice to see a few new local people introducing themselves. Well done to all the board members for volunteering their time.

Race night was on 8th November 2014 at 7pm. Thanks to all the people that came along and made it a great night. We raised £525 on the night.
-o-5K run, 10K run and 10K Cycle Race 2nd August 2014
As part of the Celebration City events in the North East of Glasgow, Cali Thistle 07970 551671 in conjunction with BCDC organised a 5K run, 10K run and 10K Cycle Race in Robroyston Park on Saturday 2nd August at 9.30am. Medals were gave out to all who participated and 1st 2nd and 3rd trophies were awarded to the top 3 of each event. It was great to see a mixture of adults and children participating together. A big thank you goes out to everyone who made the effort to come to the event and not letting the weather hold anyone back.
-o-Commonwealth Games Cycle Race in Robroyston 31st July 2014
The Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014, time trial women and men's race, passed by our local Robroyston Park on 31st July 2014 from 10am till 4pm. It was fabulous for our area to be included in the games and a great turn out by all the local people to cheer on the all the countries of the Commonwealth
-o-Rock and Pop Concert 24th July 2014
As part of the Celebration City events in the North East of Glasgow, BCDC we held a concert in the former church hall @ 7.30 pm till 9.30pm on Thursday 24th July. Local group RISE performed (people may remember them from our C in the Park event in June)

The C in the Park event, a summer gala, has now had its seventh year and this year was bigger and better. The 'C' stands for Community Commitment and Conservation – and this year also stands for Celebration.
The organiser, BCDC, joined with other groups in the North East to celebrate the arrival of the Commonwealth Games and importantly to establish a legacy from the games for future generations in Barmulloch, Balornock, Robroyston (old and new), Germiston and Provanmill.

'C' in the Park Fun Day between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday 1st June 2013. The day went really well and was attended by many local people. Over 70 people took part in the fun run/walk.
-o-Friends of Robroyston Park - BCDC Grounds Clean and Park Clean 18th May 2013
Friends of Robroyston park organised a clean up day. The grounds around BCDC hall were cleaned up along with Robroyston Park. Over 100 volunteers could be seen wearing their fluorescent jackets with pickers and black bags in hand. Over 200 black bags of rubbish were collected and everyone agreed that a great effort was put in by everyone who attended. Big thanks to Asda Robroyston, McDonalds Robroyston and Greggs the bakers for treats for all the litter pickers.

Our Halloween family party was held on 27th October 2012 at 6.30pm. A great night was had by all and a big thanks to all the children and adults who made the effort to come in fancy dress. 'C' in the Park Fun Day was held on Saturday 26th May 2012 between 12pm and 3pm. This years event was held in the former church hall grounds and building, Quarrywood Avenue, Glasgow with a few items placed at the opening of Robroyston Park, Glasgow adjacent to the hall. We raised a total of £700.

Our Scottish Family Night on 31st March 2012 raised £358 for BCDC. The night was well attended and enjoyed by people of all ages. We will also had a collection box for Ayesha's Appeal on the night and will be making an extra donation of £120 from our profits.
